estetik cerrahi The laryngeal protrusion in the throat is called the Adam's apple. This cartilage protrusion is sometimes very prominent and its appearance can disturb the person. Surgery is the only way to correct this appearance. This surgery can be performed on any patient group. Male, female or transgender individuals can request this surgery.

If you go too far while reducing the laryngeal protrusion, the support of the larynx cartilage to the vocal cords in the throat decreases and the length of the vocal cords becomes shorter, which leads to hoarseness. Therefore, the laryngeal protrusion should not be thinned too much while rasping from its outer surface. So, where should the laryngeal cartilage stand while being reduced? The answer to this is very interesting: There is no certain criterion where the surgeon should stand. He should stop where a voice inside him says stop. In other words, the absence of hoarseness as a complication in this surgery depends entirely on the experience of the surgeon. I have performed this surgery on many female, male, transgender patients throughout my working life. I did not experience a single hoarseness.
