Correction of penile curvature is unfortunately an issue that is often abused by doctors. Curvature in the penis can only be corrected for aesthetic appearance, but it is not necessary. Surgically, the main question is whether the curvature of the penis makes it difficult to have intercourse. In order for a man to have intercourse, the penis must be straight and rod-like. If the penis is curved enough to make intercourse difficult, it must be surgically corrected. We first ask patients to send a few photos showing the penis in an erection. If we can see the curvature in natural erection, the correction we make in the surgery will be more accurate.

It would be good to start a drug that reduces erection before this surgery. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia and takes one hour. After the operation, intercourse is prohibited for one month. The patient does not need to be hospitalized, he can be discharged after the operation.
